Three KCSE candidates deliver hours to exam

Three Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Examinations candidates from Nyamira County have been listed for special attention during the tests after they gave birth hours to the start of the papers.

The three will be sitting for their day one paper from the hospital beds after giving birth hours to the start of the tests.

The candidates are from Ikonge Girls Secondary in Nyamira North; St Mathias Mulumba Girls and St Andrew's Kagwa Girls schools are said to have gone into labour on Thursday afternoon during rehearsals and were admitted to different facilities in the county.

The first was admitted to Ekerenyo Sub-County Hospital where she was admitted before delivering a baby boy.

The second candidate from Kagwa Girls gave birth at Nyansiongo Nursing Home in Kijauri while the other candidate from Mulumba Girls underwent a cesarean at Summit Medical Center where she was admitted on Thursday evening before she delivered a bouncing baby girl.
