There was drama at Mirema Drive on Monday after a man was shot 6 times by a lone gunman in a suit. The deceased, identified as Samuel Mugota, had just dropped a lady and her baby when the assailant, who was trailing him, struck and sprayed him with bullets.

Mugota's body was discovered in his car moments after he had been shot six times in the chest.  Mugota, a father of three, was married and lived in Kasarani. It is alleged that Samuel was involved in shady dealings and might have been killed over a land deal. He was found in possession of seven different national identity cards.

According to detectives, the shooter was dressed in a cap to conceal his identity and is and was dressed in a suit. Kasarani police boss Peter Mwanzo confirmed that the unknown person alighted from his vehicle, shot his target six times and fled.
