Police in Vihiga County launched a manhunt for Elvis Irime, a man believed to have nailed to a tree a 19 years old Collins Sambaya, on suspicion that he had stolen his radio. Police drawn from Lunyerere Police Post found Sambaya in agony, rescued the victim and rushed him to Mbale County Referral Hospital where he is receiving treatment.

Sambaya’s family now wants police to act swiftly and bring the suspect to book as Elvis Irime is still at large. Local youth are however hot on the suspects trails.
