Police Officer Charles Ogetti is among three culprits accused of coning a Kenyan from Diaspora. The officer was providing security to the mastermind of the plan, Mary Njoki. The three were arrested by detectives at a restaurant in Hurlingham Nairobi where they had planned to meet with the victim.

The whole game started when one of the three was introduced into a Whatsapp group of Kenyans living in the United States of America as a well-connected personnel of the United Nations Office for Project Services(UNOPS). He went on to assure the members that he would help interested parties secure tenders from the organization.

Wallace fell victim to the game and was immediately intrigued by the offer. He quickly made contact with the conmen and they agreed to meet. The exchange would include cancer eloxatin vials that would earn him Ksh. 49.78million as profit after spending more than Ksh.30 million. Luckily, the conmen were apprehended by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations(DCI).
